Which Watch?

Watches are an accessory which will never go out of fashion. But, with countless styles and colours to choose from, which one should you go for?

I never take off my watch - for my 18th birthday I asked for, and received a Rose Gold Michael Kors watch - and I never looked back.

However, I do know that this sort of watch isn't for everyone - and sometimes I do find myself looking at other peoples' watches, and being almost jealous... (though I don't think I could give up my Michael Kors, not yet anyway!) However, here are a couple of others I like, and hey, you might too!

Daniel Wellington Watches are classic, timeless pieces. My flatmate has one - it's simply beautiful! They're incredible quality, and what's even better is that you can purchase numerous straps and simply slide the watch face off and on to different straps! I love this striped strap though, especially with the rose gold, minimal face.

The "Whatever I'm Late Anyways" watch is a bit of a joke to myself - I bought it for my sister for her birthday, because she's completely and utterly incapable of ever turning up anywhere on time! I think it's really funny - the perfect gift for someone who really does need a watch!

Ice Watches are something i've never really seen myself wearing, but this yellow one might just change my mind. Yellow is a colour that's really in this season, and I love how this watch would brighten up any outfit!

Shinola, oh Shinola! This is my dream watch, to me it's simply beautiful. Red is my favourite colour, and I just adore the sporty design. Oh what i'd do for this watch... it's just a little bit out of a students price range... you know, just a little bit...

I had to end with Marc, when does he ever go wrong? This Rose Gold face combined with the pewter strap is so chic. It's so effortlessly beautiful!

Creating this post has made me rethink being a one-watch gal... I really hope you enjoyed reading this. Please comment your favourite!

New Season Wishlist!

It's the start of a new year, and the start of a new University term for me, and one thing I promised myself I would do on a regular basis is blog more!

Here are a couple of my favourite new pieces, I really hope you enjoy, and please comment below what you think! I'd love to hear from you all.

Topshop always produce fantastic pieces, I love almost all of their new collection, especially since a lot of it is being modelled by the gorgeous Cara Delevingne! I love this lacy v-neck bralet, having a cropped top like this is a staple in any wardrobe, and since it's black it'll go with almost anything!

Of all the items in this post, this cropped aztec cape is by far my favourite. I really like the cape trend, but until now i've not been able to find one I liked enough! I love how versatile this is, and how it could easily be thrown on when getting dressed quickly in a morning for a more up to date look!

I love the lime colour of this River Island top, it makes me think of the 90s with all of their bright clothing! I have a vest in this colour but as it's getting colder i'd love this long sleeved piece. It'd really give a pop of colour to any outfit, especially on the cold winter mornings we're having!

Another thing I really love is jumpsuits, and this ice grey, tailored Missguided one is bang on trend with the tie waist. I wish I was tall enough for this, being only 5"5 I often find this is the case! But nonetheless, still a gorgeous jumpsuit!

Monochrome is something that always looks chic. and stripes are another thing in this season. I love cami tops, they're so easy to wear, and can be dressed up or down depending on where you're going! This Missguided cami is something that will always be on trend, making sure you always look effortlessly fashionable!

I still don't own a tube skirt! This one from New Look is another piece which can be dressed up with some chunky boots and thick tights, or dressed up with heels and a cropped top! There is a matching aztec top for this piece on the New Look website here which would make a fab co-ord set! The skirt is only £9.99, and the matching top only £6.99, meaning you could get a fab co-ord set for under £20!

Miss Selfridge are another high street store with amazing clothes. Despite usually being on the pricey side, pretty much everything they produce is bang on trend and amazing quality, really worth investing in! A white shirt is a staple in any womans wardrobe, and this jewelled one is just beautiful.

Hope you've enjoyed seeing what I've been lusting after this week. Please comment what you think below!

University bedroom wishlist!

Hello again! After a week of being at university i've already decided my bedroom isn't personable enough, so I thought i'd do a post on what i'm lusting over at the moment! Most university bedrooms are pretty boring when you move in, and I think it's really important that you make them feel as homely and personalised as possible!

I actually own this lava lamp from Amazon. My cousin got one for her birthday and I was instantly jealous. I knew I had to have one for my university bedroom to make it look more interesting, and it's been a great talking point - all my flatmates are so jealous! Pillows are a really great way of making a room look more homely and lived in - I know I have so many on my bed I can hardly move for them! I really love these ones from Asda - they're both very cheap and a really great way of making your room a bit more cosy. Before I arrived at University, I did what many students do and took a trip to Ikea - student heaven if you ask me! I bought a couple of these fake flowers as decoration for my bedroom, and the Duvet Cover I think is just amazing! It'd add a bright splash of colour to a bedroom, and Ikea is also really good quality! For me, Urban Outfitters is the queen of homeware - everything is so unique and, despite being a wee bit on the pricey side, usually worth investing in! I really loved the look of this 'shut the front door' rug - it's quite funny and a definite conversation starter! Every student needs a good mug, coffee is practically essential to get you through the more stressful days (and hungover mornings!), and I thought this funky Beyonce inspired mug was just brilliant. Photograph frames are another popular student choice - filling your room with photographs of the people you love is a great way to feel less homesick and personalise your bedroom. This 'love' photo frame is so unique and so pretty! Every student needs push pins - whether it's to pin up that dreaded student timetable or to pin pictures to your notice board! These ladybird ones are way more interesting than the plain ones people normally have! Door stops are another student essential - when you're moving in, prop your bedroom door open! It'll make you seem way more sociable and you'll make friends way more quickly! Worked for me!
